Two hundred and twenty eight days until my parents, K and I go abroad!
We have all been wanting to go on holiday together for a while now… and tonight was the night where the perfect deal came up and we took it!
I know this is totally off the blogmas and Christmas topic, but it was part of my day today, and I couldn’t wait to share it with you guys.
I was gutted to miss my blogmas post yesterday… I finished work at 6 and then had my work Christmas do just after, so I had to get ready for that. I got home about half 10 and I needed to get to sleep ASAP, as the next day (today) was my dads families “early Christmas” sort of thing.
I hardly get to see my dads family, to be honest I’m not too sure what all of the reasons are. All that I can think of is time. They live about an hour from us so the only chance we would get to see any of them is mainly weekends, and getting everyone free the same day can be challenging. But we always make sure we can make a day free in December 😊.
It’s so nice to catch up with people that you don’t see everyday. There is so god damn much to talk about, and you end up bringing up memories that you don’t think about everyday.
I saw a couple of my younger cousins today, and the last time I saw them they weren’t really old enough to speak a sentence to me! They have all shot up and changed. It’s weird to think that I was once the little cousin that people used to try get words out of 😂.
As the food started to go down and the drinks started to finish, it was time to head home. We got home in time for the final imma celeb, congrats to Jaqueline Jossa for winning! I’ve been voting for her since the beginning, she deserved to become queen on the jungle so much,
In between watching the show we all started looking at different websites for holiday prices, and we found the perfect one for us 4! We booked it and now I’m here… sat in bed writing today’s blogmas!
I know it’s been a chatty one, but that’s how today went and I’m glad I got to share it with you!
I’ll be back with something Christmassy tomorrow!
