We’re in OUR house šŸ”

We’ve been moved in our house for nearly 2 months now, and it still hasn’t sunk in that I’m a house owner.

K and I got a new car the other week and we had to fill out a bunch of paper work. We came across the question about living with your parents, owning a house… and it was so odd to actually tick the “home owner” box.

We have accomplished so much since the day we moved in! From starting right at the bottom, having to sort out every room from scratch, with all the sanding, filling, painting and many more DIY things that I’ve never done before. We have completed 3 rooms in total – the bedroom, lounge and bathroom.

The lounge:

My parents have helped out more than I could ever of imagined! I am so thankful to have them by my side, every step of the way through this new journey in my life.

After

All of the finishing touches in the lounge just brought everything together! The cute crystal heart curtain thingys are one of my fave items in the lounge. I still have photo frames to put up, but I’m just waiting for my photos to be printed and delivered ā˜ŗ.

The bathroom:

My mum and I tag teamed the bathroom together. It was so much fun transforming it into a fresh and bright new room!

The bedroom:

We still have finishing touches left to do in these three rooms. But having them near enough completed, has finally given me time to actually sit down and chill out comfortably in my OWN HOME!

I have so much to update you all on, and I promise I will get round to it now that I have more time ā˜ŗ.

I have some amazing news to tell you before I go….

We have our gorgeous baby Bernese Mountain dog in our little home with us now! Meet Brian

K and I have created a Youtube channel called ‘LKandBrian’, where we want to capture all the memories of him growing up, learning tricks and becoming one big family.

I guess I better get on with some house cleaning!

See you soon,
